Troy Taylor

Troy is a strategically focused and operationally effective global senior executive with 25+ years’ experience leading service businesses in the Americas, EMEA and the Asia Pacific regions, including India. With full P&L responsibility for multinational businesses with revenues in excess of $210M and 1,000+ employees, he has gained deep expertise in the development and execution of winning strategies that have allowed businesses to scale profitably in the Medical Device & Diagnostics, Industrial Equipment, Energy and Aerospace sectors. Further, he has delivered financial success in start-up, turnaround and high-growth business environments while building top-tier leadership teams incorporating dedicated DE&I initiatives at GE and Johnson & Johnson. 

Troy’s expertise is strategically monetizing revenue streams and building customer insights through service, support and after-market products in organizations that produce a large installed base. His focus has been on the utilization of transformational technologies in the context of new cloud-enabled remote monitoring platforms (XaaS), and the growth of interconnected smart devices that utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of things (IoT).

In his current role, Troy manages a portfolio of work, including ongoing corporate and executive consulting services for Fortune 500 companies like Becton Dickson Life Sciences and Thyssen Krupp Elevators; the creation and ownership of ZuCot Gallery, the largest African American fine art gallery in the Southeast US; serving on several real estate boards in Georgia and Florida; and as a founding board member of The Caines Family Foundation − a philanthropic organization focused on the health, economic and educational development of the federation of St. Kitts & Nevis, his ancestral home.

Prior to his current role, Troy served as Worldwide VP, Technical Services & Lab Automation Systems, for Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson and Johnson Company. He began his career as an Aerospace Engineer working on several NASA space programs for General Electric, where he quickly rose through the ranks as a Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Managing Director and divisional General Manager across GE’s Aerospace, Industrial and Energy business units.

Troy earned his Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (Moore/Wharton Schools) and holds an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He is an active member of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), the preeminent organization of African American executives in the Fortune 500 and Global 1000.
